This was the shop in the 1950's

 

 

Hockey's is an old-fashioned family business.    We are on a hill so there are levels and stairs throughout the shop.        There is a wide range of  products you would expect to find, but we enjoy stocking the unexpected.       In the Art Department the staff are often accomplished artists and the window display regularly shows our products in use.    In the lower department our knowledge of fountain pens is unrivalled, whilst the top department has an astonishing array of markers,  pens and pencils.     People stay in the shop for hours forgetting sometimes that we we do close at 5.30pm
